  SEO Strategy

The process of making a website search engine friendly is known as an SEO strategy. To maximize the effectiveness of your SEO efforts, you will need to implement every stage of a typical SEO strategy.

Choose Effective Keywords

Keywords are the words in your sites’ pages content an HTML code that match the search terms that users enter into search engines.

- Optimize Your website

SEO also involves making global and structural changes to your website: everything from choosing an effective domain name to increase a logical naming scheme for your web pages

Optimize your HTML

HTML is the predominant used to create web pages. It consists of text content within tags: for instance. The HTML title tag <title> contains the title of the page, which most browsers display near the top of the browser window. Search engines examine the content of certain HTML tags to determine how to classify the pages they are crawling.

Optimize Your Page Content

In addition to examining the content of specific HTML tags, crawlers also analyze how you present your content to readers. For instance, the keyword that appears throughout your pages and the order in which you arrange your content can affect how crawler index your site.

Get Links and Directory listings

Search engines favor sites that other sites link to and that appear in prominent web directories.

  How Search Engines Work

To understand SEO, you need to know the basics of how search engines work.

Crawling, Indexing, and Querying

- Crawling

Before a search engine can shoe your website in search results, it must first find it. Crawling is the automated process by which search engines collects and analyzes the content of a web page, including the links on other pages.

- Indexing

As a crawler finds and analyzes the data on a web page, it stores the results of its findings in an index. Indexed data includes a page’s URL, title, and other content.

- Querying

When someone enters a term into a search engine, the search engine compares the search term to the data stored in its index. The search engine then displays, as search results, a list of the sites in its index that most closely match the user’s search term.
